The beginning of the Deaf Brothers production team. Each track was recorded and shot in one day at The Meadow. Never Intended For Use was edited and mixed at home, on and off, over a period of about a year. "Dead In Absentia" was also run through a bunch of stuff in Westland Studios one night with Alwyn Walker.
Was a pleasure to be involved with the recording of Come On Live Long's album last year. In The Still was just shortlisted for the Choice Music Award. Lovely few days in with everyone in the The Meadow.
Recording & Production
This was the only full album Rían and myself did in our (now defunct) Twin Towers studio in Dublin City Centre. Dissociation Mechanics is a fuzz soaked, delay driven, phaser onslaught and was recorded in Abbey just after we got the place rebuilt. Was great getting to throw every Muff, Schaller and Space Echo at Wild Rocket's second full length LP which was released by Art For Blind last summer.
Recording + Mixing
Breakin' Out was the second album by Glimmermen on Transduction Records. It was recorded in The Meadow during Christmas and New Years of 2015 and was a welcome distraction from the holidays. It was finished in Abbey in early 2016. Great record to work on and I really love Gav's photo for the artwork.

The first Deaf Brothers production. Heavy Electricity was recorded in 7 days at The Meadow. Was a great privilege to record No Spill Blood’s debut album. This production and getting to shoot video & photos of the process has pretty much set the tone for everything I have done after. Legends.

Meltybrains? Kiss Yourself EP was recorded at The Meadow with Deaf Bros back in 2015 sometime I think. ‘Unwarranted Laughter’ is my favourite from this EP. Great mastering by Matt Colton at Alchemy and killer artwork by Ronan Kelly.
