Font Finished (Sorta)

First draft of this Sharpie font is pretty much done now… Going to give all these a final look over when I have done the few different options of my own writing that I want get into the computer… Also working on somebody other peoples writing for specific projects or if I like the look of their writing…

Font Building Continues

Glyph’s have been scanned and dumped into photoshop for a clean… Then vectorized in Illustrator so that each letter or symbol can be sized correctly and tweaked… Last stage is to transfer the prepped vectors into FontStudio for keyboard placement, kerning etc and final TTF creation…

Looking through the photos from 3 days of recording with the Panik Attacks late last year to select the individual snaps that will be stitched together to make the final collages or what I have decided to call ‘Joints’… Also building a HyperLapse Teaser for the eventual release of the entire batch of songs as an EP… Currently waiting for it to render and drinking cwoffee…

Down The Meadow today giving the Bats record a final tweak… Also helped Rían soundcheck Drums, Bass and Grand Piano for song he is playing and recording for a movie soundtrack that George Brennan is working on… Kit is our mid 70’s Rogers, Grand is Yamaha C7 and Bass is 60’s Hofner 500/3 - Mic’s used are 88 on kick, 201on snare, KM84 on hats, T-B clips on toms and 4038’s with FET Heads for Overheads, Stereo Vintage Scheops on Grand and EV RE20 on Trace Elliot Bass Combo / Pre’s used in The Meadow are Chandler, our in-house tech built Dempsey Neve, Atlec and API’s and a soon to be FOR SALE Phoenix DRS-8…
